Plank Your Way Through the Holidays

The final month of 2019 is here! So, of course, in typical “end of the year” fashion, I thought I’d stir up some friendly competition. No need to start a fitness resolution Jan 1 if you can get in the fun…now! (Sorry, that was almost a rhyme…bummer.)

Challenge yourself, your friends & fam, and even your office with this 25 day spread!

There are endless ways to complete this challenge, but I’ve created 2 teams:

  • #Team25in25
  • #TeamAddOn

If you are Team 25-in-25, then your main goal is to complete 25 planks in 25 days – 1 per day. If you are Team Add-On, then your goal is to complete all previous planks along with the new one each day. The planks do get harder along the way.

Pass it along to your crew and see who can plank-em-all! With your 25 day calendar, you’ll also get some of my planking tips, so you’re definitely going to want that email.

Although this challenge has many plank variations, some more difficult than others, you can always modify to your level! Even if you complete 25 plain ol’ plankaroos and nothing crazier, you’ve still ended the year on a positive note in my book.

“But it’s the middle of December and I’m just now seeing this. I can’t do all 25 days before the end of the year.”

Remember: just because you may be late to the game when it comes to your goals doesn’t mean the work you put towards it is for nothing.

Complete all planks for 1 minute!

Again, if you’re not quite ready for 1 minute for all of the planks demonstrated below, start with timing yourself on plank #1 and progress according to your own personal level!
